INGrid Summer school “Quality of working life and vulnerabilities”
Deadline for applications: 10 April 2015
CEE, Noisy-le-Grand (France), 1-5 June 2015
The aim of this summer school is to provide a multidisciplinary perspective on the concept of quality of working life on one hand, and to identify links with vulnerable groups on the other. ‘Quality of working life’ is preferred to the umbrella term ‘quality of jobs’ because it refers more explicitly to what is happening while at work. It is also preferred to ‘quality of work’ because it avoids the confusion between what is being produced and employees’ evaluation of their work experience.
The summer school is aimed at PhD students/postdocs/and early-stage researchers and practitioners. The programme is also tailored to researchers wishing to acquire interdisciplinary competences about quality of working life.
Requirements for attending the summer school are: Mastering of SAS or STATA software is required to participate in the practical exercises.
Candidates are expected to fill in the application form on the website before April 10th, 2015, including a short motivation and CV.
