My research concerns working conditions and health among working populations, as well as work related health inequalities between different social groups in the labor market. Ongoing projects focus on (1) self-employed individuals working conditions and health, and (2) sustainable leadership in a changing working life. (3) Workplaces of the future is another area of interest and here the focus is on how to develop sustainable offices that support employees’ health and well-being and companies’ productivity and growth. I have worked as an in-house researcher at NCC Property Development for three years investigating challenges and possibilities for sustainable offices. At University of Helsinki, I’m participating in an innovative intervention project (4) The revolutionary power of compassion – a key to successful and sustainable business. My intention is to merge knowledge from this ongoing project with my research into sustainable offices in a project about activity based workplaces (ABW). These topics are suitable for collaborative research projects.
